Climb aboard your Everglades airboat adventure and take a tour through Florida’s Sawgrass Recreation Park.
Feel the excitement and learn the history of Florida’s most remarkable treasure–the Everglades.
Renew your spirit as you glide across miles of river at speeds up to 40 mph, and get up-close and personal with native wildlife. Start your adventure with an airboat tour of the Florida Everglades and catch a glimpse of wildlife as you skim across the glassy water.
After your boat ride, stroll through our included exhibit areas featuring over 100 reptiles and mammals that have been adopted and rescued. Educational presentations are run throughout the day. In our Reptile Exhibit, take a walk on the wild side back in time with an original dinosaur, the Florida Alligator. Be sure to bring your camera, so you can capture the excitement of you meeting one of these majestic animals with our “Meet a Baby Alligator” experience.
Different animals that often include reptiles like tortoises, and iguanas. Be sure to stop by The Gator Grill for lunch before you leave. Enjoy Gator Bites, tacos, burgers, and more at our on-site food truck. Souvenir, snacks, and beverages are available in the Gator Emporium.
Children are allowed on board the airboats, children ages three and under are free. Children ages six and under are required to wear a life jacket for safety. Tour is suitable for children of all ages. We are open 363 days each year and our boats run every 20-30 minutes until 3:30 p.m. with a final airboat adventure at 5 p.m. when our exhibit areas close. All tours operate pending inclement weather so please call prior to arriving if there is weather in the area.
